The Studio 9A Process
My approach is rooted in collaboration and adaptability.
I work closely with clients to understand their vision, craft a narrative that captures their mission, and produce videos that not only tell a story but also inspire and engage.
Every project is a journey, and Iām here to guide you every step of the way.
-
Every organization has its own language, its own priorities, and its own definition of success. Before we shoot a single frame, we learn yours. That means talking to the people we'll put on camera, understanding what you're actually trying to accomplish, and figuring out who needs to hear it.
We've told stories for freight brokers, independent grocers, federal food access programs, advocacy coalitions, and political campaigns. The subject matter is always different. Getting to the point where we understand it well enough to tell it honestly is always the same work.
-
Once I've spoken to all subjects and organizations and we've agreed on the key messaging, I write a script or content framework that serves as the roadmap for everything that follows, whether that's a long-form video, a short-form series, or a social campaign.
-
This is where we show up and do the work. Every subject is prepped, every location is scouted, and we follow the roadmap we built together while staying open to what we find when the cameras are actually rolling.
-
The edit is where everything comes together. We take the interviews, the b-roll, and whatever surprised us on shoot day and cut it into something that actually holds together. You get a fast first cut, two rounds of revisions, and a final product that sounds and looks like you.
-
A now, it's time for the world to see!
You will receive finished assets ready to deploy across your channels, your campaigns, your stakeholder communications, and wherever else the story needs to go.
